As part of its activities, since 2010 French Architects Overseas (AFEX) organizes the AFEX Grand Prix for French architecture throughout the world.
The 2021 edition rewards buildings delivered abroad by French architects between 1st January 2018 and 31st December 2019, recognized for the quality of their design and construction.
Their architects are registered with the French Ordre National des Architectes. Their practice is headquartered in France. They are not necessarily all AFEX members.
In France and worldwide, the Grand Prix and associated events make known and promote the quality of French architectural services abroad. They also develop and share the approach and experience acquired by French architects in international markets.
In 2021, the AFEX Grand Prix and Jury Special Award are exhibited at the Palais Royal from the opening of the Journées Nationales de l’Architecture on 15th October until 15th December 2021.
The exhibition will then begin its international itinerary.
